Stampin' Up! Special Someone Birthday

Welcome to my makeover Monday...at least I guess you can call it that. I CASEd Amy Koenders card, which you can view here. If you aren't familiar with her work, you are missing out!

If you aren't familiar with CASE, it mean to Copy and Share Everything OR Copy and Selectively Edit...my choice is the latter in this instance.

My card base is Mint Macaron with a mat of Flirty Flamingo. I had a piece of DSP from Tranquil Textures (retired) that was just the right size and I ran it through my embossing machine using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered both mats to my base.

I cut one of the Tropical Oasis Memories & More Card Pack cards with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. I adhered that piece to the embossed mat with liquid glue.

Using the Special Someone Stamp Set, I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White in Melon Mambo and cut it out with a smaller Stitched Nested Labels Die. I adhered that with Dimensionals.

For the bow, I used Mint Macaron 1/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon and attached it with a glue dot.

I had some retired It's My Party Enamel Dots in my stash so I embellished the card front with two small ones and a larger one.

Pammie's Inky Pinkies is up and running with the ATG #2105 Challenge so this fits!

For the inside, I used two of the stamps from the set and stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink and Shaded Spruce ink. I adhered a strip of the M & M card left over from my flamingo piece.

I am really pleased with the way my makeover turned out and I hope I did Amy proud. While I'm at it, I think I'll enter it in the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge #187

I hope you have time to visit the challenge sites and I thank you for stopping by today. I hope you'll return tomorrow for our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop.
