Stampin' Up! Feels Like Frost Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our weekly hop. Today we have a sketch challenge:
Image may contain: text

and here is what I created for it:

I started out with a Pretty Peacock Card Stock base. I adhered a piece of Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper will be available in the 2020 Holiday Catalog so mark it on your calendar! I added a strip of Silver Foil to the bottom of the card.

Then I cut two pieces of vellum with the leaf die from Frosted Bouquet. I colored them with my Light Pretty Peacock Blend. I cut out two of the berry pieces from Silver Foil, using another die from that set. I adhered them with liquid glue but in the opposite direction of the sketch.

The sentiment is from the Piece of Cake Stamp Set. I stamped it in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with Silver Emboss Powder, heated it and punched it with the Pretty Label Punch. I ran my Light Pretty Peacock Blend around the edge to mimic a mat behind it. I adhered three Noble Peacock Jewels from the Pretty Peacock portion. The sentiment is adhered with Mini Dimensionals.

I didn't like the line between the DSP and silver foil so I wrapped a piece of 3/8" Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon around it, tied a bow and that solved my problem.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thank you for joining the hop. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Eva Dobilas. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.
