Stampin' Up! Free As A Bird Birthday Card

TGIF! Yesterday at card group, we had a delicious cranberry coffee cake, Bellini's and Mimosas at Meg's. It was a fun morning with a great project and two cards. We also celebrated Sue M.'s birthday.

Our first card was quick and easy. It's a CASE of Lori Pinto's.

We stamped the background image (Crackle Paint) in Soft Suede. We used Meg's Stamparatus for quick and easy coverage. The panel measures 3 3/4" x 5".

We chose an image from the Bird Ballad DSP that Meg had cut up for us using a rectangle shape from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. It's adhered to a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock that was pre-cut and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

We ran a strip of the Braided Linen Trim around the background layer before adhering it to the Crumb Cake card base. We stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral ink and cropped with a tag from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

For the inside, we stamped the bird from Free As A Bird and colored it with Blends. The sentiment is from Country Home, stamped in Soft Suede.

Easy peasy, right? I would like to enter this in Alphabet Challenge "Q" for quick and easy, and at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies for November.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a great weekend planned.
