Good afternoon, peeps! I actually made a card today with nothing that was laying around my desk! I used the sentiment from the Piece of Cake stamp set to create a very quick and easy card.
My colors were inspired by TGIF Challenge #228
My design was inspired by Fab Friday 171
The Washi Tape Merry Merlot "pansy" and the Metallic Pearls qualify me to play in the Just Add Ink Challenge #473
My card base is Basic Black with a piece of Merry Merlot DSP from the neutrals pack. I cut a strip of Basic Black from a scrap and likewise a strip of Very Vanilla.
On the Very Vanilla strip I stamped the sentiment in Merry Merlot and quickly heat embossed it with Clear Emboss Powder. I added three metallic pearls.
It's so hard to believe the flower petals are pieces of washi tape. The center is a clear faceted gem colored with my Merry Merlot Stampin' Write Marker.
