I used the Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Stamp Set, Healing Hugs Stamp Set and Cat Punch to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it...
I'm playing today at the Alphabet Challenge Blog: M is for Masculine.
My card base is Basic Black with a mat of Pumpkin Pie.
I punched out two Basic Black cats with the Cat Builder Punch. I stamped the pumpkin from the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and colored it with my Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Blends. It's cut out with the Apple Builder punch. I had a tiny scrap of wood grain paper from cards I'll be making with the Pressed Petals DSP this week so I punched out the pumpkin stem with the Apple Builder Punch. I stamped the leaf and fussy cut it.
On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped one of the sentiments from Harvest Hellos in Pumpkin Pie three times after doing a dry fit.
I adhered the pumpkin with liquid glue, along with the stem and leaf. The cats are adhered with Dimensionals. I took the "Hey there, Pumpkin!" stamp from Harvest Hellos and colored one part with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and the other with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker. I punched them out with the Classic Label Punch but then decided to make them smaller so each cat's name would fit..."Hey There" and "Pumpkin"...lol.
The inside I kept really simple...a mat of Pumpkin Pie and a mat of Whisper White that has been stamped in Pumpkin Pie using the tendril stamp from Harvest Hellos and the sentiment from the Healing Hugs Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
