Good morning, peeps. It's the middle of the week and I can't wait for it to be over. My mornings have been spent at the chiropractor as I reinjured my back Saturday night. She had me all healed and then I lifted something I shouldn't have...back to square one. Unfortunately, a chiropractor can't prescribe pain meds; so, it's heat, ice and Aleve for me.
The good thing is that I had made lots of cards ahead of time so I can put them on my blog until I can perform certain motions. Here's one we made at card group the end of July.
This is a retired stamp set and retired DSP. The front is a piece of cake but the inside for most of us was a bear. Sue couldn't remember how she did it but thought she had watched a video. When I got home from cards, I went in search of one and it can be found here. The instructions for the inside start at about 24 minutes in.
It's such a pretty stamp set with matching dies. I love the big boldness of it. I know the ink and mat card stock used was Blackberry Bliss. The other card stock could be Pear Pizzazz.
I'm playing at two "Anything Goes" challenges today... Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes and Retro Rubber Challenge #117. Retro Rubber requires the use of a stamp older than a year. The Lovely Friends was first offered in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

Thank you for visiting today and if you are led, please pray for my speedy healing. I have a date with The Mouse and my daughter in September!
Very pretty card Karen! The pop-up dies are so pretty! :)

DeletePretty card! SO sorry that you're hurting, Karen - that makes EVERYTHING awful! :(
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Mary.
DeleteWow, this is very cool! Hope your back feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks, LeAnne. It's going to take awhile but I am hoping and praying for sooner because there are so many things I can't do and one thing I shouldn't have done that caused the problem.
DeleteThat's such a pretty way to use the big sentiment stamp. The pop up bit in the middle is magical! Hope your get well soon. Thanks for playing with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
