Thursday was Barb's birthday and by my card you will know what her favorite color is. It's the same as mine!
My card base is Gorgeous Grape with a mat of Highland Heather. The Country Floral embossed mat is Purple Posy. The ribbon is 1/2" Purple Posy Scalloped Linen. The "Happy Birthday" is cut with the Well Written Dies.
For the inside, I used stamps from two retired sets: Eastern Beauty and Well Scripted.
Sue L. provided a beautiful chocolate cake for our birthday group gathering. Tomorrow I'll show you the projects/cards we made at Sue's. It was a fun afternoon! Barb knew immediately who the card was from...imagine that!
I'm playing at Crafty Catz #465 Anything Goes with a Birthday Twist and it was Aunty Sue's birthday yesterday. If you get a chance, go visit the site and wish her a happy one! I'm also entering my card in the WWC224-Karen's Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge. Last, but not least, the Cut It Up Challenge 175 has a birthday theme and you must use a die cut.
Thank you for stopping by today.
