Stampin' Up! Healing Hugs for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome back for our weekly hop. There are seven more lovely creations that await you when you get to the bottom of my post!

This week we have a color challenge and Amy threw in an accent color of our choice. I chose Mossy Meadow.

I started out with a Basic Black card base. Measurements and supplies I used are listed below. The technique is called "Triple Time Stamping" because you stamp all the front white panels at the same time. You adhere them together with either temporary adhesive or a little bit of Snail making sure they are centered. Don't use too much because you need to separate them once you've stamped.

First I stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings with Memento Tuxedo Black on the lower right corner of the top panel.

Using Basic Gray, I stamped off twice on scrap paper to make the light background with a stamp from First Frost. I stamped the big flower from Healing Hugs full strength with Basic Gray. They I added the leaves from Healing Hugs, stamping full strength with Mossy Meadow.

Once you are done stamping and have separated the white panels, you glue them to their respective mats but be careful to have them going together so that your flowers are lined up.

For the inside, I used the flower from First Frost and again stamped off twice. I stamped the sentiment from Healing Hugs in Mossy Meadow. Then I punched the corners and adhered the panel to the base. I may add some leaves before I mail it.

Since my card is filled with flowers, I've decided to play at The Sisterhood of Crafters - It's All About Flowers
