Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board

Hello peeps...hope you are having a super Saturday.

Thursday our card group celebrated Dottie's birthday because she will be back up north for her actual day. Meg made little blueberry cakes for the celebration, Sue came out with the cutest birthday candle and Alexa played Happy Birthday. It was such a fun afternoon.

Here is one of the cards we made...

We used the Envelope Punch Board to make the envelope and then embossed it with a folder Sue had picked out. She had the flowers cut out for us. The pink cardstock is embossed with the Layering Leaves DTIEF.

Now, here's the interesting part. The bows we made were from lace ribbon that was left over from Sue's daughter's wedding gown over 20 years ago.

Craft-Dee Bowz always has a monthly challenge that involves a handmade bow so I am entering the May challenge along with the bow challenge at Cute Card Thursday 580 Tie a Bow.

Aud Sentiments #226 Feminine + A Sentiment  is another great place to play. Pink shouts feminine to me, along with the lace bow. The sentiment was a wood mount rubber stamp but I don't know what company manufactured it.

Last but not least, I have some cookies for you for Mother's Day tomorrow.
