Stampin' Up! Dear Doily for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our weekly blog hop. This week we have a sketch challenge and it was a really difficult one for me. I just couldn't get my imagination or creativity to go there exactly. Here's the sketch...

No photo description available.
and I brought out my Dear Doily Bundle to create my card for the challenge...and then I was back to monochromatic...perhaps I have mono! Just threw that in for fun...I'm not sick.

That's as close as I could get to the sketch. I can't wait to see what my fellow teammates created.

My iPhone camera does not really show the three different washi tape designs and the punched sentiment looks uneven in the camera angle (I used a die from Petals & More). In real life, it is even. I'm playing again at Ellibelle's Dies/Punches Challenge.

The inside is blank because I will be writing a note to the recipient. BUT how can I write a note inside when the outside says that words can't express...lol. I'll figure it out somehow!

Over at Time Out, they are encouraging us to be unique. I think the use of washi tape is unique for me.

The Paper Craft Crew has a challenge for a simple card. This one is so easy for a beginner!

  7. Using Washi tape would be unique for me too! I have a huge box of it and it just sits there or gets used to hold down stencils etc, so its fabulous to see it used on your card. Love the black/white design and the die looks so intricate, especially in black. Its a fabulous card and I'm so glad you shared it with us at TIME OUT!
