Yesterday was our card group at Sue Morton's. She made a delicious lunch. The mainstay was stuffed tomatoes and they were stuffed with chicken salad from Aldi's. YUMMO!
Then she had four cards for us. She had done all of the cutting work with the exception of one card. I will be displaying each card throughout the coming days, starting with this one. "An Open Heart" is a retired stamp set and her card was a CASE of Brandy Cox, I believe.
This was my favorite card kit that she made. I'm not sure of anything except that I think it's beautiful and the recipient should receive it in a couple of days. I love the layering, the stamps (inside stamp is not SU), and the retired items we used that I wish SU would bring back. I'll go visit the Sandbox (for demonstrators) and let SU know that I would like the metal tearing strip brought back! I can't tear edges like that by hand. If there is anything you want brought back and you aren't a demonstrator, let me know in a comment and I'll play in the Sandbox for you!
The item that amazed me most was her flower dot. She took Perfect Pearls and perfected the dots on wax paper. She let them solidify so we didn't have to fool around with that wait time for them to set. It looked like a manufactured brad.
See what I mean? ... she's the best!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you'll be back tomorrow.
