Stampin' Up! Loyal & True

Mod Squad InchiesTuesday Throwdown - For a Cause - #TT412 and Tuesday Morning Sketches #473 (great sketch Melissa!)

are my playground sites this morning. As most of you know, my husband is battling cancer from Agent Orange. So "my cause" is for the people who serve in any branch, anywhere in the world, to let them know we are thinking of them. My friend, LeAnne, sent me some patterned paper and I have used a smidgeon of it today.

I used Real Red for my card base. I sponged a piece of Whisper White with Blueberry Bushel and used the same ink to stamp the sentiment from Loyal & True.

I punched 1 1/4" squares with a retired SU whale punch (that's old!). The DSP is by Our Daily Bread. The middle square is SU Blueberry Bushel.

The sentiment from Climbing Orchid is stamped in Blueberry Bushel on a scrap of Whisper White and adhered to a piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock. The Air Force symbol is a die cut, listed below.

The inside is self-explanatory, I hope.

Thank you so much for stopping by and remember our Veterans, please.

  4. Really great card! I feel the same way toward our military, but don't do anything for them. Shame on me. You are an inspiration to prompt me to get with the program.

  5. Your card is fantastic with the red, white, and blue colors and patterns, and I like the reason you made it. I miss making cards for OWH and wish they were still sending them to our troops today. Sorry your husband has such a battle on his hands, but your support will give him wings. Thanks for playing along with the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge and good luck!
