Stampin' Up! Enjoy Life with Timeless Textures

Hello peeps...did you miss me yesterday? I missed you. If you stopped by, there was no card was there? I'm sorry...life got in the way...you know how that goes!

Today is a really quick and easy card. I was inspired by Try It on Tuesday. Their challenge is black, white and one color. My one color is Balmy Blue.

My card base is Basic Black. I used a stamp from Timeless Textures to stamp the "road". With Memento Tuxedo Black, I stamped off once and stamped a couple of places full strength. The silhouette is from Enjoy Life, as is the sentiment.

The sky is sponged with Balmy Blue. I added retired black enamel dots to give the appearance of a frame. However, you could use the new Faceted Dots that come in different colors, black being one of them.

For the inside, I used the little circles stamp from Eastern Beauty and the sentiment is from the Enjoy Life set. I just love this set and need to use it more.

This card was made for my hubby to send to a friend who gave him a shirt that references Veterans who served in Vietnam. I'm not sure the friend is a bike rider but I do think the card is masculine.
