I was inspired by Janet Wakeland. I'm playing with Seize The Birthday
My card base is one of the new colors...Grapefruit Grove. I think I love it just because of the name...I live in Florida and grapefruit is plentiful.
I adhered a Basic Black mat to the card base. Using my Stamparatus (available June 1), I took a piece of Whisper White and stamped it in the 5 new 2018-2020 In-colors (available June 1) using a stamp from Sunshine Sayings. Then I stamped the splotches in the same colors using a stamp from Awesomely Artistic (retiring May 31). I am so sad to see that go...but I will continue using it!
The removable hinged plate made stamping a breeze. All I had to do was "baby wipe" the stamp in between colors. The Stamparatus lined it up perfectly. Here's a video about the Stamparatus. If you go to 7:26 on the video, it shows you exactly how I used it.
The "Happy Birthday" is cut with that die in Basic Black and adhered with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
It's kind of a "happy" card, don't you think? I think the colors are pretty true to the rainbow.
Hope you'll stop back tomorrow.
