Stampin' Up! Window Shopping

Make My Monday's Challenge #66 is to incorporate gold or silver into your card. Check!

Dragonfly Journeys Challenge 113 requires that your card "go green". Check!!

Simply Create Too Challenge 136 requires more green. Check!

My greens are Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Mint Macaron.

I incorporated gold by using the die from Celebrate You Thinlits (Sale-A-Bration) (you can ask me how to get this from Stampin' Up!). I love this die set and matching stamp set. I cut out the word "celebrate" using gold foil paper. I also have a mat of gold foil under the DSP pieces. We are celebrating spring on Amy's team for the month and on Mary's team we are having a flower challenge.

I am also participating in Kylie Bertucci's challenge of cutting up my Designer Series Paper. We stampers seem to love hoarding DSP! These particular cuts are from the Botanicals collection, which is retired, but you could substitute anything you have.

I guess you might say I'm challenge crazed today!

The ribbon is Gold 3/8" Metallic Edge and I used it to hide the seams. I taped it to the back of the card front and made a separate bow. I adhered that to the ribbon strip with a glue dot. Then I adhered the card front to the card base, which is Pear Pizzazz. I thought it was Old Olive but it looks a little too light.

For the inside, I edged the Whisper White mat in gold ink from Color Box. I got out my Window Shopping stamp set and inked up the sentiments in Old Olive and Gold (the "make a wish" is easier to see IRL). The three cupcakes are from that set and are stamped in Basic Black, Calypso Coral and Old Olive to tie it in with the top piece of DSP on the front.

I appreciate your stopping by today.
