Stampin' Up! This Little Piggy Goes to the Beach!

What Will You Stamp WWYS #131
gave me my inspiration for today. I made this card for a particular reason but I can't say why until after I have sent it...just in case the person sees it on Facebook or on this blog!

The colors used in making this card are:

Lemon Lime Twist
Pool Party
So Saffron
Fresh Fig
Berry Burst
Sahara Sand
Basic Gray
Powder Pink
Soft Sky
Melon Mambo
Old Olive
Tranquil Tide
Crumb Cake
Gold Wink of Stella

Needless to say, my 2' x 2' craft space was quite crowded and Miss Piggy is quite the colorful character! (You can tell by the Lemon Lime Twist!) I tried to give her a look of living on an island...maybe Captiva, Sanibel, Boka Grande, or Cabbage Key? Much of the lettering was done free hand. I used Pool Party ribbon on the inside to get an horizon effect.

In addition to using This Little Piggy, I used Colorful Seasons and Beachy Little Christmas, which will be available this Friday. As a demonstrator, you get to order stamp sets, etc., before customers. That's a perk, especially if you want to do classes. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a demonstrator, please  Click on Contact Me!

I am still learning different techniques and that is why I will be offering classes to beginners, or anyone who is interested, starting in October. Please let me know if you are interested by clicking on the blue link above!

Thanks for looking.
