Stampin' Up! Colorful Seasons

I made this card for Amy's Inkin' Krew August monthly card challenge which must contain the color green.

Although it's retired, Mossy Meadow was one of my favorite In Colors and is quite close to Always Artichoke. I used Colorful Seasons Stamp Set and Coordinating Framelits.

I used a piece of photo paper which I colored with Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Always Artichoke reinkers and spritzed it with alcohol. I die cut the Mossy Meadow front. When the photo paper was dry, I adhered it to the back of the Mossy Meadow mat . Then I placed the die cut leaves back in the openings using my Fine Tip Glue Pen. The smaller leaves are heat embossed with Copper Embossing  Powder using Versa Mark ink. The  technique for my card front is called Inlaid Die, I believe. I stamped the sentiment in Crushed Curry and embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. Why I did that, I have no clue because it didn't turn out yellow! I then adhered the mat to my Crushed Curry card base.

Thanks for looking!
