Today I was able to enter some challenges...and one fit our situation perfectly
Always Fun Challenge #19 - Going in Circles. Since last Tuesday the oncologist's office has been trying to get my husband's port replacement scheduled for today or tomorrow. I won't get into it, but trust me, they've been going in circles and dragging us along for the ride. It still is not scheduled and chemo is supposed to be the day after tomorrow.
As You See It - Summer Salad - #156 is a color challenge so I used Elegant Eggplant, Real Red and Lemon Lime Twist.
Atlantic Hearts Challenge #225 is a sketch challenge.
The stamps I used came from the June 2016 Surprise Banner Paper Pumpkin kit. My card base was my second one. I accidentally used the first base to die cut the mat for the sentiment...ugh! I got brave with the "birthday" stamp because I only wanted the "birth" part so I cut it in half! The set already contained just the word "day". My upline promised that it would go back together perfectly and I trust her! I used a scrap of Lemon Lime Twist to follow the diagonal in the sketch and drew dots with an Elegant Eggplant SU marker to set if off.
I needed a masculine birthday card, but the more I look at this, it reminds me of the Red Hat Club. What do you think?
