Sweet Stuff

LeAnne Pugliese is one of my favorite challengers at The Paper Players. She inspired me to make a card for their current challenge The Paper Players PP #343.

Thanks to a friend, I have the Sweet Cupcake stamp set. I paired it with the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits. I used the retired Birthday Bouquet DSP for the two panels. My colors are Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride and Tip Top Taupe. I sponged the Decorative Label with Sweet Sugarplum (to set it apart from Blushing Bride) and Mint Macaron. The belly band is Mint Macaron glimmer paper die cut with So Detailed Framelits. I plan to make another card tomorrow CASEing this one but using different colors. This card is known as a gatefold card and is scored at 2 1/8" from each side. The belly band is scored to go around the front of the card and a solid piece of Mint Macaron cardstock is adhered to it, which can only be seen from the back.

Scor-Pal More than One Score Challenge #37 is a monthly challenge and, in addition to scoring, they have offered a favorite colors challenge. Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride and Tip Top Taupe are three of my favorites. Two colors are retiring but Blushing Bride keeps on with the wedding march.

Thanks for looking!
