Christmas in September

Thursday at my card group, we made two Christmas cards and a card done with the Bokeh technique. The Bokeh technique was new to me and I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out. The sentiment is from Stampin Up as are the butterflies and inks. The lighting is not too good, but I used Wink of Stella black and clear on the letters. The embellishments are White Perfect Accents and Rhinestones. I think I am a fan of the Bokeh technique and I'll try it again to see if I can improve. Not bad for my first time.

The second card is done using Sizzix Thinlits Dies Woodlands by Tim Holtz. The cardinals are a die by IOS. I used Silver Wink of Stella for the snow mounds.
The next card used Vellum, embossing in white and gold, gold foil and red cardstock.

Thank you for looking and for any comments :-)

  1. These are all very pretty! I love the first one...I have those cardinal dies as well and I love how they sit in the trees. Your bokeh one is pretty too..I will need to try that sometime. My first attempt was not too good!
