Stampin' Up! Relaxing Waterside Birthday Card for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to the AIK monthly blog hop. Our theme for this month is "Celebrate Summer" and we can  use any product we wish.  The list of hoppers is at the end of my post. I hope you'll hop along. Here's a thumbnail of my creation...

I'm still sticking to my goal of using a Paper Pumpkin Kit at least once a month! This is an alternative for the July 2023 kit, Fun in the Sun. I was inspired by Rachel Tessman.

Let's take a closer look...

My Lemon Lolly card base is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The Basic White part of the card is 3 3/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2". The Lemon Lolly mat is 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". The images are from the punch outs in the kit. I stamped the sentiment on the Adirondack chair in Crumb Cake using a stamp from the May-August 2026 catalog (Relaxing Waterside).

The inside...
More sentiments from Relaxing Waterside and more punch outs from the kit.

Stampin' UP! Happy Place Masculine Retirement Card

Good morning stamping friends. Today's card was inspired by Jackie Bolhuis and should help you feel a little warmer...think ocean and palm trees. So far I have 4" of snow and it is still falling. So, let me take you to the beach...

My card base is Azure Afternoon with a mat of Basic Black, a mat of Balmy Blue embossed with the retired Subtle 3D EF and a piece of Basic White for the sentiment and image from the Happy Place Stamp Set. The black heart may have been punched with the retired Dog Builder Punch. I found it on the floor after converting my retired stamp sets to the new packaging. I have freed up so much space, it's incredible! Here's a small sample...

and for the inside I used the retired Many Mates Stamp Set...

Measurements:

Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"

Basic Black Mat: 5" x 3 3/4"

Balmy Blue Embossed Mat: 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"

Basic Black Mat: 4 1/4" x 2 1/4"

Basic White: 4 1/8" x 2 1/8" sentiment/image; 5 1/4" x 4" inner liner

I am really enjoying using my retired stamps along with the new. Thank you for stopping by today.
