Stampin' Up! Sentimental Wishes for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hope

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came!! We have a theme challenge for you today and here is what I created for our hop...

I CASE'd a card by Wendy Lee at CreativelyLeeYours. Let's take a closer look...

I used the same measurements as Wendy and the product I used is listed after the names of our hoppers. The bow is cut from the DSP with a die. Does it remind you of a wrapped Christmas present?

For the inside...

I cut a stocking from the DSP. I love it when the dies match something in the DSP!

I'm entering my card at Pammie's Inky Pinkies 2443 since I haven't played there in awhile. Hope you'll visit Pam's challenge...it's an "Anything Goes". At Krafty Chicks Challenge their challenge #740 is an "Anything Goes" because it's the 5th Thursday of the month! I hope you will visit them as well.

Stampin' Up! Greatest Adventure Get Well Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came!! We have a sketch challenge for you today and here is what I created for our hop...

As you can see, I flipped the sketch on its side. Let's take a closer look...

I made it into a slimline card because the locomotive and side pieces went beyond an A2 card.

My card base is Basic Gray cardstock that I stamped with a stamp from the Light the Sky Stamp Set. I used VersaMark ink to do that. It measures 8 1/2" x 7", scored and folded at 3 1/2".

My silver foil strips are embossed with the Cane Weave 3D EF. Each one measures 3/4" x 3". The Basic Black strips measure 1/4" x 3". The art panel, which is Smoky Slate cardstock, measures 5" x 3".

For the inside...

I cut a piece of Smoky Slate that measures 8 1/4" x 3 1/4" and stamped the sentiment, from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Thank you for stopping by! Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. I hope you enjoy all the creativity.

Stampin' Up! Monochromatic Mother's Day Card

Good mid-week morning, peeps (or whatever time of day you are looking). This is the card I gave my daughter for Mother's Day. She loves dark blue and although this looks like Night of Navy, it really is the retired Starry Sky cardstock and ink. The stamp sets I used are the current Stippled Roses, the retired Welcoming Window and Oh So Succulent. Let's take a look, shall we?

and the inside...

I used my Stamp N Write Markers to ink up the stamp.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! Nature's Prints Thinking of You Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came! We have a sketch challenge today and here is what I created for our hop...

Let's take a closer look, shall we?
My card base is Mossy Meadow. I embossed a panel of Basic White with the 3D Fern EF after I stamped it with images from the Nature's Prints Stamp Set.

Using the Deckled Rectangles Dies, I cut a Mossy Meadow mat and my sentiment from Nature's Prints . I sponged the Basic White sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink. I adhered it to the mat with liquid glue and the mat to the card front with Dimensionals. I added 3 Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish the front.

For the inside...

The sentiments are from the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set and the fern is from the Wild Ferns Stamp Set.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Appreciation Card for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

Hello my stamping friends! Welcome to our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew hop. Our theme for this month is "For the Ladies/Girls" and we can interpret that any way we want and use any product we wish. Here is what I created for it using the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set for the sentiment and Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper...
Let's take a closer look, shall we?

The design is from Kendra's Card Challenge #14, Sketch #1. The mats for the Bright & Beautiful DSP are Misty Moonlight as are the banner, ink and dots. This was not an easy design...cutting angles is a definite challenge for me.

The card is going to a woman who loves blue and monochromatic!

Stampin' Up! Translucent Florals Grateful Card

Good morning, peeps! I just ordered the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder and thought I would try a blending brush on the raised flowers and use the ink pad to drag it across the panel to see what happened. Here's the result...

Interesting, but not challenge worthy! I do love the EF though and I'll play with it some more. The ink pad dragging...not so much!

For the inside...

I had cut down my original panel and used the strip for the bottom.

Thanks for stopping by today.
