Stampin' Up! Country Bouquet & Authentique Emerald

Good Sunday morning, peeps! Today is Sketch 7 of Kendra's Card Challenge #13. It's also green for my CNCK Team Challenge! Word Power #3 is a new challenge site for me. If the front sentiment isn't enough, I think the inside will be...lol!
I used more of the Authentique Emerald patterned paper, Mossy Meadow twine and a sentiment from the Country Bouquet Stamp Set.

The inside is the same as one of my previous cards with
a sticker from the Authentique pack!

I'm also entering my card in the 165 Crafting Happiness Challenge where they are looking for "green". Cardz 4 Galz #220 is also looking for "green". I think they found it! Oh, and not to be outdone, Just Us Girls Challenge #717 is all about green too!

I hope you'll check out all these challenges and I thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Perennial Postage St. Patrick's Day

Good morning, peeps. Today starts, or I should say "restarts" my cards for Kendra's Card Challenge #13, my CNCK "green" challenge and my AIK, "think spring" challenge. Green always makes me think of the green grass and buds that replace the barren brown color. It also makes me think of March 17th! Take a look see...

This is sketch #1 of Kendra's Challenge and I used a sentiment from the Perennial Postage Stamp Set, patterned paper from Authentique's Emerald pack, and Stampin' Up! Evening Evergreen Cardstock (retired) and Basic White Cardstock.

For the inside...

This is a sticker from the Authentique pack. Easy peazy card.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a great weekend.

Stampin' Up! Country Bouquet St. Patrick's Day Card for the Thursday Happy Inkin' Blog Hop

Today I have used the  Country Bouquet Bundle for our sketch challenge.

Let me 'splain, Lucy...

My card base is Basic White 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2".

I cut another piece of BW cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and ran it through my embossing machine with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. Then I sponged it with Granny Apple Green ink.

Next I adhered a 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" piece of Designer Series Paper from the Tea Boutique 6" x 6" pack.

I used the following inks for the sentiment, hearts and leaves: Old Olive, Garden Green and Granny Apple Green. I used the Country Bouquet Punch for the leaves and shamrock hearts, along with the Label Me Fancy Punch for the sentiment.

Three Brushed Brass Butterflies finished the card front.

Stampin' Up! Let it Ride St. Patrick's Day Birthday Card

Good Monday Morning, peeps! Hope you had a great weekend. I didn't have to cook because friends invited me to dinner Saturday night and Sunday my brother, sister-in-law and I went to our community play and then they took me to dinner at a restaurant on the river. It was a great weekend with people I love.

So the people who I had dinner with asked me to make a card for their granddaughter who loves horses and was born March 17. Here's what I conjured up...

My card base is Evening Evergreen cardstock with a mat of Basic White. The patterned paper is from Authentique's Emerald DSP.

I used a die from the Tailored Tags set for the sentiment and horse from the retired Let it Ride Stamp Set. The inks I used are Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Evening Evergreen and Granny Apple Green., I used the Alphabest Stamp Set and Very Best Label Punch for "Becky". I was hoping the jute rope would look like reins ... lol!

The inside is a mixture of stamps. The "happy" and "St. Patrick's Day" are from the retired A Wish for Everything Stamp Set. The "birthday" is from the Go to Greetings Stamp Set. The shamrock is from The House that Stamps Built. I used the retired Detailed Trio Punch on one of the corners and adhered a strip of patterned paper and called it done.

Of course, because envelopes are not allowed to be "nekkid", I adhered a piece of the patterned paper to the flap.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew blog hop.

Stampin' Up! Sweet Conversations St. Patrick's Day Card

Welcome to another HITBH! If you came from Sue's site, I'm glad you are continuing the hop. If you haven't then I hope you'll continue to hop using my links below. No matter what, I'm glad you're here. Today we have a sketch challenge and here is what I created for it...oh, and by the way, enjoy corned beef and perhaps an Irish Mule!

and here is the sketch...
This was a quick and easy card to make as the paper did all the work. My card base is Shaded Spruce Cardstock. I used a panel of Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper and a strip of Gold Foil hearts that I die cut with the Sweet Heart Dies. I cut the tag, using the same die set, out of Brushed Metallic 12" x 12" Cardstock and adhered a Bumblebee Trinket over the hole.. The heart from the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set is stamped on a scrap of the DSP that had a little bit of gold on it. I used Shaded Spruce ink and die cut it with another die from the aforementioned set. I adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

For the inside, I sponged a Basic White panel using the tapping method, which turns out more like stippling. The "Happy St. Patrick's Day" is from the A Wish for Everything Stamp Set. The "happy" sentiment is from Sweet Conversations. I stamped the hearts at the bottom with another stamp from Sweet Conversations. The ink, again, is Shaded Spruce.

I rounded the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch and adhered it to the card base with liquid glue.

Stampin' Up! Happy Thoughts St. Patrick's Day Card

TGIF peeps! Today's card is brought to you by the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set. It's a "thinking of you" card that I hope will bring a little smile to the recipient.

My design was inspired by one of my team mates, Shirley G. Measurements are listed at the end of this post.

My ribbon is retired and I used some retired DSP that I received as a gift so I'm not sure what it is. (Mary will know for sure!) The shamrock was created from parts of the inside hearts (pic below) using the Stitched Be Mine Dies. The bling is Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The "ON" is from a retired stamp set, Botanicals for You, and the "St. Patrick's Day" is from the current A Wish for Everything Stamp Set. The colors are Mossy Meadow, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive. With many greens, I am entering my card in these challenges:

The inside uses the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set again and the Stitched Be Mine Dies.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
