Stampin' Up! Textured Notes for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came!! We have a sketch challenge for you today and here is a thumbprint of what I created for our hop...

May be a graphic of text

My card base is Old Olive Card Stock. I cut out a 2" circle to make a mask and sponged a piece of Basic White Card Stock with the soon retiring colors of Moody Mauve, Boho Blue and Wild Wheat.

After removing the mask, I stamped the leaf from the Textured Notes Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Hibiscus Stamp Set in the soon retiring Pebbled Path ink. I cut it out with a die from the Countryside Corners set (on the Last Chance list) and sponged and edged it with the remaining retiring color, Copper Clay.

Just in case you didn't see my post from yesterday, I will share it here as well. This will be my last hop with the team and I will be discontinuing as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Stamping is still the love of my life and I plan to continue creating cards but not posting except for once a month on the design team for Creative Creases Challenge. (I'm tired of what Blogger does to my posts/links and I'm too old to learn Word Press...lol!) Right now I know this is the right choice for me but I could change my mind down the road. I thank all my followers and visitors who have supported me over the past 10 years.

Again, thank you for stopping by! Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. I hope you enjoy all the creativity.

Stampin' Up! Gift Card Holders for the SU Demos Fun Fold Monthly Hop

Hello my FB peeps! Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop!! The participating demonstrators are listed at the end of my post. I hope you will choose to hop along. Here's what I created for the hop today...

I CASE'd this from Dawn Olchefske, who is also a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

My "sleeve" is Night of Navy Card Stock cut at 7 1/2" x 3 1/2". It is scored at 1/2" and 4". Add Tear & Tape to the outside of the 1/2" fold and fold the other side on top to create the sleeve. The retired Country Club DSP is cut to 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and adhered with liquid glue to the outside of the sleeve.

The sentiment, stamped in Night of Navy is from the retired So Sentimental Stamp Set. It is cut out with a retired die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered it with Dimensionals and cut a silver golf club with the retired Golf Club Dies.

Next for the gift card holder: Mine is Mossy Meadow Card Stock cut at 10" x 3 1/4". It is scored and folded at 4" and 8". Add Tear & Tape to the sides of the 4" fold and secure. This forms the pocket for your gift card.

The portion to write on is a piece of Basic White cut at 3" x 3 3/4".

I created this one with current product: Woven Textures DSP, sentiment from Unbounded Love, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake,  Basic Beige Card Stock, and Linen Thread.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will hop along with the list of demos. This will be my last hop with the demonstrators as I will no longer be a demo as of May 1.

I hope to see you Thursday for our Happy Inkin' Thursday weekly blog hop. That will be my last hop with the team.

Stamping is still the love of my life and I plan to continue creating cards but only posting once or twice a month. Perhaps later on down the road I will begin again but right now I know this is the right choice for me. I thank all my followers and visitors who have supported me over the past 10 years. I have had so much fun blogging with the Happy Inkin' Thursday peeps, Amy's Inkin' Krew and SU Demos Fun Fold. I'm continuing on the Design Team for Creative Creases monthly fun fold challenge.

Stampin' Up! You Are Remarkable Sympathy Card

Good mid-week day, peeps. My card today is cut with the same die as yesterday but different flowers. I love this die but it's not Stampin' Up! However, the flowers are! I used the You Are Remarkable Stamp Set for the flowers, the Unbounded Love Stamp Set for the sentiment, and the Quiet Reflection Stamp Set for the inside.

I used Light & Dark Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Blends for coloring the leaves and the centers. The sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

For the inside...

The mat is Old Olive card stock and the sentiment is stamped with Old Olive Ink. The image is stamped with Smoky Slate.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.
