Stampin' Up! Another Beauty Birthday Card

Hello again, my stamping friends. I'm on a roll with using up the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. Take a look see...

I will admit, this is not one of my favorite cards. I'm not good at triangular placements AND I flunked Geometry in high school and had to go to summer school where I excelled at it. SO, it had to be the teacher, right? I'm also not a fan of rickrack and got this through a paper/ribbon share. The Sparkle Dot Essentials embellishments were from that same share. To me, the card looks way too busy and cluttered. I could accept it if it had been created for a challenge!

I took a 3" x 3" square piece of DSP and cut it into 4 triangles. Then I cut a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" piece of Old Olive card stock and cut that into triangles. I thought I had the rickrack situated so that it would look balanced, but alas, I think I failed that course too!

The sentiment is from The Cutest Crew Stamp Set and I cut it out with a Spotlight on Nature die.

The inside is plain and simple using another stamp from the aforementioned set and adhered a 1/2" strip of DSP.

Thanks for stopping by today and tomorrow will be another "Beauty"! Hope you are having a great weekend so far.
