Stampin' Up! Bendy Birthday Card for the Stampin' Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop

Hello my stamping friends.  Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop!! The participating demonstrators are listed at the end of my post. I hope you will choose to hop along. Here's a thumbnail of what I created for the hop today...

 Let's take a closer look...

My inspiration came from Dawn Griffith.

Early Espresso Card Stock:

·        Base – 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”

·        Mat – 3 1/4” x 5”, scored at 1/2” on both sides of 5” side

·        Bendy – 1” x 6”, scored at 1/4” on 6” side

Petal Pink Card Stock:

·        Front Mat: 3” x 3 3/4”

·        Back Mats: 2 1/2” x 4” (2) (not shown in post)

·        Scrap for Sentiments

DSP:

·        Share What You Love – 5 1/4” x 4”

·        Beautiful Gallery – scrap for hash (2)

·        Painterly Pears – cut outs for pears, stems/leaves

Inks:

·        Early Espresso

·        Old Olive

·        Mossy Meadow

·        Memento Tuxedo Black

Tools:

·        Perfectly Pears Stamp Set and Dies

·        Stylish Shapes Dies

Accessories:

·        Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots

·        Dimensionals

Instructions:

Adhere  5 1/4” x 4” DSP to card base, score at 2 3/4” on the back side of base. Bend back and forth with fingers ending up with a valley fold.

Stamp a pear image in center of 3” x 3 3/4” Petal Pink Mat; adhere to 3 1/4’ x 5” Early Espresso Mat that has been scored previously on the edges. With the scored sides folded in and down, score at 2”. Fold back and forth with fingers ending up with mountain fold.

Add cut out two pears and adhere with dimensionals. Cut and adhere 3 stems/leaves. Put liquid glue only on stems and mini dimensionals on leaves.  Adhere hash marks.

Line up center fold with center fold of base and adhere with Tear & Tape on folded edges, make sure it’s high enough that “bendy” doesn’t cover the bottom of pears.

Stamp splatters on the 1” x 6” bendy piece. Tear & Tape on the ¼” folds and butt up against edges of base. Stamp splatters on the banner sentiment (optional).

Add sentiments…one dimensional on banner center. 2 mini dimensionals on the “hello”. Add 3 embellishments.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will hop along with the list of demos below.
