Hello my stamping friends! Welcome to our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew hop. Our theme for this month is "Celebrate Spring" and we can interpret that any way we want and use any product we wish. Here is what I created for it using the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies...
Let's take a closer look...
I was inspired by the SU January-April 2025 Mini Catalog and my team mate, Jaimie.
My card base is Thick Basic White 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4".
I cut a piece of Basic White 4" x 5 1/4", embossed it with the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder and sponged it with Calypso Coral ink. Then I cut it down to 3 1/4" x 5 1/4".
Next I cut a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock 1/4" x 5 1/4" and adhered it to the above piece.
Then I cut a strip of Beautiful Bokeh 6" x 6" DSP to 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" and adhered it to the card base. I adhered the embossed part to the front with Dimensionals.
Using a stamp from the April 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I stamped "Happy Spring" on a scrap of Basic White in Pretty Peacock ink and punched it out with the Modern Oval Punch. I punched another out of Calypso Coral card stock for a mat.
I had a piece of Bright & Beautiful DSP on my desk that I had used the other day so I die cut some small butterflies and adhered them to the front and the inside. The strip along the bottom of the inside is from what I had cut for the front.
The sentiments are from the Birthday Celebration Stamp Set, stamped in Pretty Peacock and Calypso Coral inks.
