Stampin' Up! Heart Shaped Treat Holders for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came!! We have a Theme challenge for you today and here is what I created for our hop...

May be a doodle of text

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

Can you see the butterflies? I did not have any current butterfly stamps so I had to resort to embellishments for the challenge!

These were the favors I made for our Valentine dinner at my house Saturday night. Unfortunately, I can't give credit to the proper person for the idea as the photos and directions were not marked plus it was something I printed out 5 years ago!

I used the Heart Shaped Stamp Set for the banner sentiments, Brushed Brass Butterflies I already mentioned and Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper along with Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and Ink to make the project. I think they are sooooo cute! I didn't have Ferrero Rocher candy so I used Dove Dark Chocolate and Hershey Kisses.

These are so easy to create. For the DSP, you need a 1 1/4" x 11" strip, scored at 5 1/2". Add adhesive to one end and fold ends in, adhering together  for the heart.

Cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and score at 5/8" on all sides. Clip to make tabs for easier/neater folding. Add glue dots to each tab to form a box. Add a small strip of Tear & Tape to the bottom of the box and adhere it to the base of the tilted heart.

Thank you for stopping by! Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. I hope you enjoy all the creativity.
