Good Friday morning, peeps! Hope you are getting ready for a good weekend. I have nothing planned except to watch football, basketball and go to my church for the pastor's installation.
My design comes from Dani Gurrola when she does her mystery stamping on Tuesday evenings. She tries to create easy cards for those just learning and ones that experienced card makers will enjoy. You can find her here. Because my card was quick and easy, I've decided to enter it in the Alphabet Challenge.
So, without further ado, here is the card I created. It's for a PEO sister who is going through chemo.
Card Base: Evening Evergreen Cardstock (Retired): 11" x 4 1/4", scored and folded at 1 1/2" and 7"; 1" x 4 1/4"; scrap for sentiment mat
Patterned Paper: Spring Daisies 3 3/4" x 3 1/2"; 3 3/4" x 1 1/4"
Basic White Cardstock: 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"; scrap for sentiment
Stamp Sets: Comforting Thoughts; Daisy Garden (retired)
Dies: Something Fancy
Ink: Evening Evergreen (retired)
Here's the inside...
They are not my favorite words, but they are appropriate for this situation. The placement of everything is obvious, I hope! The bottom fold is glued on each side edge so a gift card, money, or personal note can be inserted.
Thank you for visiting today and I hope you'll return on Monday when I have a makeover of this card for another PEO sister.
Beautiful! And will be such a welcome bit of cheer to your friend! :)
