Good Wednesday morning. I haven't participated in challenges in awhile so I chose today to enter three. Double Trouble is my first choice. Let me show you a snapshot of my card and then we'll get down to brass tacks with the challenges.
I'm playing along with Thing 1, Thing 3 and Thing 2. By playing with Thing 2 I have chosen to enter my card at
because I used pink, brown and cream and at Crafter's Cafe Challenge #312 Anything Goes with the option of an animal. Now, back to my card...
I'm pleased with the way it turned out! My base is Early Espresso with mats of Pretty in Pink and Country Woods Designer Series Paper.
I used the retired This Birthday Piggy Stamp Set for the sentiment and the image. I cut the sentiment out with a die from Stylish Shapes Dies and the image with a retired die from the Stitched Shapes Dies set. I colored the image with Light & Dark Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo, Pecan Pie and Granny Apple Green Blends. I added 3 Berry Burst Tinsel Gems and the front was done.
For the inside...
Same stamp set, same Blends adding Lemon Lolly for the candle flame. I sponged the edges of the Very Vanilla mat with Early Espresso ink.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll visit the challenges AND stop by tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop.
