Good morning, peeps. It's another every other Friday Fun Fold at Creative Creases and here's what I created for the challenge today...
Real Red Cardstock: 4 1/4" x 11" (card base scored
and folded at 5 1/2", 6 3/4" x 8 7/8")
Basic Black Cardstock: 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" (x2 - mats
for card front and for inner liner); 1 1/8" x 4 1/8" (mat for book
binding part);
Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 4" (x2 - front art panel
and inner liner); 1” x 4” (embossed for book binding part)
Silver Foil – scrap for numbers
1. Score the 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Real Red
cardstock at 5 1/2", 6 3/4" and 8 7/8".
2. Fold the 5 1/2" score line as a "valley" -
then the 6 3/4" as a "mountain" - and the 8 7/8" score as a
"valley" - burnishing each of the score lines with a bone folder.
3. Use Liquid Glue between the 5 1/2" and 6 3/4"
scores and use that to adhere the front and back of the card base together to
form the book fold.
4. Emboss the 1” x 4” piece of Basic White and adhere it to the 1 1/8” x 4 1/8” piece of Basic Black cardstock.
5. Use Glue Dots to adhere a length of Red Faux Linen
3/8" Ribbon around the matted
panel.
6. Tie a smaller length of the ribbon around the wrapped
ribbon to create a "faux bow" .
7. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the matted panel to
the small section of the card front (book binding section)
8. Using the images from the Game On Stamp Set, stamp the poker hand in red ink and the clubs in black ink on the piece of 4" x 4" Basic White, along with the "Let's Celebrate" from the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set using black ink..
9. Adhere that to the 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Basic Black.
10.Use Liquid Glue on just the bottom panel of the card
front to adhere the card front to the base.
11. Adhere computerized/clip art panel to the 4 1/8” x 4 1/8” Basic
Black mat and adhere to inside of card
12. Run the "80" dies through a die cutting machine using Silver Foil and adhere with Dimensionals to add as a “stop”for the easel.
