Stampin' Up! Many Mates 4th of July Wedding Anniversary Card

WOW! I have three couples who are celebrating their wedding anniversary on the 4th. One couple celebrates 57 years, one 16 years, and another almost 40! I'm busy making cards for them...here's one...

I used the Many Mates Stamp Set for the sentiments inside and out. For the image inside, I used the retired In The City Stamp Set.

For the stripes I used the retired Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies. I glued the Night of Navy strips from the die onto a scrap of Night of Navy so it would appear solid.

Then I adhered the stripes to a mat of Whisper White. I used a die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies to cut the hearts out of Gold Foil and adhered them to the Navy banner with glue dots. My Whisper White mat is adhered to a panel of Real Red cardstock and that is adhered to a Night of Navy card base.

The sentiment is stamped in NON on a piece of Whisper White and punched with the Lovely Label Pick a Punch. I had two tiny gold glimmer stars in my stash so I adhered them with liquid glue. The sentiment is attached to the card with Dimensionals.

Here's the inside...

For the fireworks I used my Pacific Point, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Stamp N Write Markers to ink up the photopolymer stamp, huffed on it and POW! I was happy!!

Update: So, for one more red, white and blue challenge, based on Suzanne's suggestion, I'll play with Double Trouble Twisted Sister!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will be able to enjoy some fireworks over the holiday weekend.
