and this is the new one...I apologize for the glare from my light. Foil is so difficult to capture. I used the same stamp set for the front, a different embossing folder and a totally different stamp set for the inside. I also changed the way it opens.
My card base is Basic Black with a mat of silver foil that was run through the Big Shot with the Sparkle TIEF.
I used a strip of Black/Silver 1/4" Metallic ribbon across the center and adhered it to the back with tape. I die cut the outer sentiment frame from a Black Foil Sheet with a die from Garage Gears Thinlits. The sentiment is from Geared Up Garage, stamped on Basic Gray card stock. I used VersaMark ink and heat set it with Silver Emboss powder. It's cut out with another die from the Thinlits. I glued the frame to the card with liquid glue and the sentiment with dimensionals. When you get glue on foil, WD40 on a Q-tip works great to remove it...ask me how I know!
I had so much fun with the inside. I lined up my sentiment stamp from Geared Up Garage and the truck stamp from Country Livin' on my Stamparatus. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Whisper White Thick cardstock. I used Blends for coloring so you need that particular type of ink. Alcohol inks and water based inks do not a match in heaven make!
So, I used the following Blends to color my truck and grass: Dark and Light Smoky Slate, Dark and Light Soft Suede, Dark and Light Cherry Cobbler, Dark and Light Old Olive, and Light Daffodil Delight. I colored the wheels with my Basic Black watercolor pencil and Blender Pen.
I added a few more silver foil gears cut out with dies from the Gears set.
