Stampin' Up! Pleasant Pheasants

In addition to the card kits Meg prepared for our Thursday group last week, she prepared a wonderful spinach quiche, cantaloupe, grapes and a banana cake...I forgot to tell you about that. This morning, I am sharing another card from a kit she prepared that day.

We are in Disney today. It probably will be our first and last trip for the 2018 Food & Wine Festival where we will celebrate our 49th anniversary on the 27th. I am hoping and praying Perry's body will be able to do this...his mind wants to. Those of you who know him, know that he loves to go to England and Germany for his beer, a brat and Scotch Eggs. We have rented a scooter while we are here and we are staying at the Beach Club Villas right next door to Epcot. These plans were made almost a year ago because getting our time share for the F & W festival is very difficult. We are on a waiting list for Animal Kingdom Lodge time share for my birthday in November. So, if a room becomes available and if he is able, we'll hit the Food & Wine Festival one more time. But, let's get on with what this post is about...a beautiful card!

Don't you just love this Pleasant Pheasants Stamp Set? I believe this is a CASE of Mary Fish. I am playing at a new-for-me challenge site International Art & Soul and their theme is "Nature". I used to love it when my brother would be home pheasant from his hunt. It was never served under glass but it was served deliciously!

The card base is Night of Navy. I ran the Very Vanilla mat through the Big Shot using the Corrugated Dynamic TIEF. I stamped the pheasants in Navy of Navy and adhered it to the pre-cut NN mat. I wrapped the Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham ribbon around the art panel and tied a bow. You don't want to know how long I worked on that bow! Then I adhered it to the embossed panel. The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy and I cut my own "tail" to adhere to the card.

The inside was simply stamped with one of the sentiments from the set using Night of Navy. So, because this a monochromatic card AND it is celebrating Thanksgiving, I am entering it in a newly-found challenge for me at The Twisted Challenges.

Thank you for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow.
