We have a color challenge this week...here are the colors...
and here is what I created for it.
My card base is Mint Macaron (a retired color returning June 1).
The square is a piece of Very Vanilla which I stamped in Crumb Cake using the Timeless Textures stamp set (making your own DSP is fun!). Because of that, I am entering my card in the challenge at Tuesday-Throwdown-394-Create-your-own Background.
The next square is a piece of Graceful Glass Vellum card stock, available June 1. I colored the back side of it with my Mint Macaron and Night of Navy Stampin' Write Markers. I adhered it to the DSP with glue dots in areas where they would not be seen.
With my Layering Circles Framlits dies, I cut out a Night of Navy scallop and Mint Macaron circle. I stamped the sentiment from Painted Glass in Night of Navy. I adhered those two circles together and attached them to the Vellum with Dimensionals. I adhered that to a mat of Night of Navy.
Before I adhered my card front to the base, I wrapped Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake Nature's Twine (available June 1) around it. Then I made a double bow and attached it with a glue dot.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiments from Sunshine Sayings in Night of Navy on a mat of Very Vanilla. I punched the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch (available tomorrow...sounds better than June 1!). I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink and adhered it with Tombow.
Measurements and most products used are listed below.
I thank you for stopping by and hope you have the time to hop along to view what the other team members created.
