Stampin' Up! Black and White for the Happy Inkin' Blog Hop

Hey y'all...it's Thursday again...and you know what that means. Yes, we are going hopping with a great group of crafters. This week's challenge is a sketch and here it is...

No automatic alt text available.

My card has so many ingredients, I am just going to list them below along with measurements. In addition to the hop, I'm playing along with Allsorts Challenge 460 - Black & White Only

...and for the inside...

If you have any questions about my card, please leave a comment with your email address. In the meantime, I hope you'll click on the names listed below who have participated in the hop. If you click on the "Next" button you will be taken directly to Julie Johnston's work of art. You can also click on any name below to go directly to that site.

Measurements and Supplies:
  • Whisper White Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" scored and folded at 5 1/2"
  • Basic Black Mat: 4" x 5 1/4" (2) - one for card front, one for inside
  • Petal Passion leaf DSP: 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Petal Passion Stripe DSP:3 1/2" x 2 1/2"
  • Basic Black scraps for flower sprigs, horizontal piece and "amazing"
  • Whisper White scrap for sentiment cut with Layered Circles Framelits
  • Vellum for  leaves
  • Whisper White mat 3 3/4" x 5" for inside greeting
  • Daffodil Delight Scrap for inside "you"
  • Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Daffodil Delight ink
Details for Card Outside:
  • Make your card base
  • Layer black mat, DSP leaves mat and DSP striped mat to card front
  • Cut the horizontal strip with die from Petals & More and adhere to DSP
  • Cut two black flower sprigs using Flourish Framelits and adhere to DSP
  • Stamp sentiment from Flourishing Phrases in Memento Tuxedo Black; and little flowers from Petal Palette
  • Cut out with scalloped circle die, edge it with black marker and adhere over sprigs and leaves with dimensionals
  • Punch 3 Vellum leaves with the Leaf Punch, use Tombow glue to adhere them underneath the circle (just put glue on the stem that goes under the circle)
Details for Card Inside:
  • Die cut "amazing" and "you" with Celebrate You Thinlits
  • On your Whisper White mat, using any alignment tool you have (or your naked eye), lay out "so He made you" from Flourishing Phrases; the sun rays from Amazing You;  Happy Birthday from Beautiful Bouquet and your die cut words. Once you have everything positioned, remove the cut outs and ink up the stamps and stamp away! I added ellipses after the "you" to lead into "Amazing"; then glue your cut out words where you wanted them.
  • Adhere the art piece to the black mat and that to the card base
If you wish to purchase any of the products through me, just click on the pictures below and it will take you to my online store. Please note that the Amazing You stamp set and matching die set "Celebrate You" are Sale-A-Brations items that are free with a $100 purchase. That promotion ends 3/31/18.
