Stampin' Up! Large Numbers

Sunday, in church, our pastor announced that a member was going to be celebrating her 100th birthday today. I have never met her but I thought turning that age merited a card. So, with the help of Sketch Saturday #497,

I made a card for Marjorie. I hope she enjoys it and her special day.

My card base is Tranquil Tide, then a panel of DSP from Eastern Palace, Fresh Fig sheer ribbon on each side, and the die cut panel is DSP also from the Eastern Palace snippets I had on my desk. I had two snippets of Very Vanilla on which I stamped the "th" and "birthday" in Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig. The dies that I used are from the "Large Numbers Framelits". The stamps are "Number of Years". These came as a bundle when I purchased them but you can only purchase them separately now.

I adhered the "100" panel to the card front with Stampin' Up! dimensionals. Products I used are listed below, along with measurements.

On the inside, I adhered the number snippets and stamped the sentiments in Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig. The "happy birthday" sentiment is from one of my Paper Pumpkin kits. You can learn more about Paper Pumpkin by clicking the tab above.

Are you seeing the new/repititious word I've been using here? Well, I want to play at Pixie's Snippets Playground - Weeks 317 and 318. This is quite an interesting site. I love the card Diane made and I am going to try to CASE it using my Party Panda stamp set, which you can see here.

I also want to play at Shopping Our Stash #338: You say it's your BIRTHDAY!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a blessed day, along with Marjorie. 100...WOW!!

  1. Hi Karen! I just spotted your sweet comment over at the Snippet Playground. Oh do please have a go using that lovely Panda stamp set by SU to make a card and join in with us! I run the challenge on my own, apart from some lovely Guest Designers who make a card to show in the 'results' week usually. This fortnight just started so you have no excuse not to come and play with us! And to be in with a chance of winning the Sushi Date set - hope to see you!

How come you only have one follower? We'll have to sort that one out! I always introduce new Playmates when I do a fortnightly round-up and encourage other Playmates to come and visit you and hopefully also become followers. They are the sweetest bunch and you'll be welcomed with open arms.

    Hugs

    Di xx
