This week I have needed four sympathy cards. When you live in a 55+ community, it happens quite often. Kim at Freshly Made Sketches FMS290 has a very unique sketch to follow...
My card follows it pretty closely.
I am going to CASE my own card later tonight if I don't fall asleep. The past two days have been spent at the oncologists. My husband's portable pump stopped working at 1 a.m. and neither of us heard the alarm until 3:30 a.m. I've been awake ever since! It failed again half an hour before the pump was to be removed. Enough about that though...you probably are wondering about the products I used.
The sentiment is Hero Arts, stamped in SU Blackberry Bliss. The "banner" is SU silver glimmer. The DSP is from Craft Consortium, designed by Shell Rummel. My card base is SU Smoky Slate as is the top panel. The bottom panel is Blackberry Bliss. I sponged the top and side edges of the sentiment panel with Blackberry Bliss.
This one will be for our pastor's wife as she just lost her mother Monday. The other three are for families in our community. I hope that's the end for awhile!
Thanks for looking.
Well - I'm really sorry that you need sympathy cards, Karen - but...this one is going to bring a smile and some comfort to the recipient. Very elegant and pretty! And - you and Perry get some sleep - you've been thru the wringer! :(
