My husband received a gift in the mail yesterday from our son-in-law's father. My husband is terminally ill with cancer caused by Agent Orange. The chemo he gets every three weeks is keeping the cancer stable except for a new tumor that they are treating with radiation, along with chemo. The wonderful man who sent this bracelet
mentors veterans who want to become entrepreneurs. He does this at FGCU every other Saturday for a 3 month period. The mentorees range in age from 25 to 65. I quote him, "One of this year's class served 21 years then 15 as a teacher in the inner city. He discovered that only 23% of school children understood our Constitution. He started a business making the military bracelet. For each one he sells he uses part of the money to purchase a wonderful book that spells out the Constitution so ANY grade school student can easily understand it." There is one that will be dedicated in my husband's name for his Army service in Viet Nam.
If you are interested in finding out more about this, let me know and I will contact my sil's father about it and get back to you.
So, my card was inspired by the gift and this challenge
