Stampin' Up! Phrases & Frames Sympathy Card

Good morning...at least that's what it is here in TN on a Monday. My card today is one that nobody likes to have to make but I think the design and paper are beautiful just like the person who went to be with her Lord and Savior. Take a look see...

It's a book binding fold and the design was compliments of Maymay Made It. I really had fun creating the quilt part. You can see how to create it here.

For the fold...score a piece of 4 1/4" x 11" cardstock at 5 1/2" and 6 3/4". Fold at 5 1/2 and fold back at the 6 3/4. Cut a 1" by 4" DSP strip. I will be posting cards that have mats with measurements next Monday. The cuts for the quilt and how to arrange are in Maymay's video. It's a pattern that creates 4 cards.

Thank you for stopping by.

Stampin' Up! Perennial Lavender Fun Fold CASE

Oi! I had my post in draft form for today and accidentally deleted it. In any event, it was this card and you can find the how to's in this post but just in case you don't want to go there, I've included the measurements below.

Card Base - colored card stock - 6 1/2" x 5 1/2", score on long side at 2 1/4"

  • Inside Base - White mat - 4" x 5 1/4"     DSP - 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
  • Front Flap - White mat - 2" x 5 1/4"       DSP - 1 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Joy Fold Base - colored card stock - 3 5/8" x 5", score on long side at 2 1/2"
  • Inside white mat - 2 1/4" x 3 3/8"
  • Outside white mat - 2 3/8" x 3 3/8"
  • DSP - 3 1/8" x 2 1/8"
Corner triangle - DSP 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" cut on diagonal.

The butterfly is stamped on scrap white with Highland Heather ink and edged with matching Blend. I have no idea where the butterfly stamp is from as it had no name on it, neither did the die. I don't where the other butterflies are from as they were in my embellishment stash.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a better Wednesday than I am having!
