It's a Saturday again and hopefully a good start for the weekend. I've been in a Christmasy sort of mood so I'm finishing off November with Christmas cards for our church shut ins. Here's the first of eight.
Cherry Cobbler Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4 on long side
Basic White Mat 3 3/4" x 5"
3 patterns from Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP 3 1/2" x 4 3/4".
Put pieces together, slip under trimmer so you can mark long edge with a pencil at 1" and 2 1/2"; turn around and mark same on long edge; cut on the diagonal from top pencil mark on one side to the other top pencil mark on the other side making sure the edges line up; do the same with next pencil marks. Don't get the sequence messed up and keep them stacked! Line them up horizontally or vertically, depending on how you want your base to go. On the first stack, take the top piece and put it on the bottom; on the second stack take the first piece and put it on the bottom; take the second piece and put it on the bottom. Leave the third stack as is. Taking the top piece from each stack, glue the pieces to the front leaving a border but no space in between the pieces. Continue in the same manner with the remaining stacks. Decorate as desired.
