Stampin' Up! Beauty Abounds and Butterfly Gala Stamp Sets

Good Wednesday afternoon, peeps. Tomorrow is our card group gathering and we are celebrating one of our member's birthday. I hope she likes the card I made her today.

My inspiration came from three sources:

For challenge #1, I spun the wheel and came up with the fold, flowers, and the necessary butterfly, not once but three times! I'm not sure what color "firecracker red" is, but maybe Melon Mambo will be a good substitute. This was quite the challenge, ValeryAnne, and I am interested in a prize!! This was NOT just for fun...lol.

Here's what I created...

Here it is partially opened...

and here it is opened all the way...

I am in the process of writing up a sheet with measurements and directions so if you are interested, just leave me a comment with your email and I will send it as soon as it is completed. If I had colored the entire pieces of Designer Series Paper, it would have taken forever! It took enough time as it was!! I will tell you this much, the card base was done with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Melon Mambo card stock.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll come back tomorrow for our weekly Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.

  2. Interesting how you have created the front panel . I like how you have only coloured a few of the flowers and leaves. Gives a very pleasing effect. Thank you for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me this week. Hugs Mrs A.
