Stampin' Up! Petal Palette Meets Garden Impressions

Thursday the card group met at Dottie's. She started off the day by entertaining at least 25 people for her daughter's doTerra Essential Oils presentation. She and her daughters put on a beautiful spread for lunch. Because we knew she would not have time to put together 4 kits, only 1, 3 of us made kits. As you saw yesterday, mine was the masculine card.

Today's card was a kit prepared by Meg. She gave us the choice of what pieces of DSP we wanted to use from the Garden Impressions 6" x 6" paper stack. Here's what I chose...

The birdie and the branch of leaves are from the Petal Palette stamp set. I am not sure where any of the sentiments are from as they were already mounted on blocks. The bow is Grapefruit Grove Nature's Twine. I used Mango Melody, Cajun Craze and Shaded Spruce inks and Blends to create the art panel. The design is based on a sketch by Debra at Sketch Saturday #383 for Challenge #557.

The corners of my inner mat are punched with the Detailed Trio punch. The card base is Soft Sea Foam.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a fantastic weekend.

  2. LOvely card. I especially like the inside sentiment. And that little bird is a favorite of mine.
