Stampin' Up! Beautiful Day

This is my second post for today. I go from not feeling like making a card to making two! I have a reason...WWYS #175

is using this stamp set and I have never inked it up. So, their deadline is 8 PM EST and that's where I am!

I thought I was working on a 5 PM deadline so I made a quick and easy card.

I had my Fresh Fig, Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron inks out so I decided why not play again at #GDP145
with their color challenge and with the sketch at Just Add Ink #416

I outlined the flower with my Fresh Fig Stampin' Write Marker, stamped it on a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" Whisper White. Then I took my Blender Pen and filled in the petals with Fresh Fig and did the same method for the leaf, which is Mint Macaron. The center is inked with my Grapefruit Grove Stampin' Write Marker. Using the Stamparatus makes this process a piece of cake so that it's always lined up.

The sentiment is stamped in Grapefruit Grove ink. I cut a 1/4" x 5" strip of Mint Macaron and glued it to the panel. I sponged the edges with Mint Macaron ink and adhered the panel to the card base with Dimensionals.

Thanks for visiting!
