Hey y'all...it's Thursday again...and you know what that means. Yes, we are going hopping with a great group of crafters. This week's challenge is a sketch and here it is...
I wanted to let you know I found a new charitable challenge site...Send a Smile 4 Kids. I'm not sure if I can donate this card because the inside is not blank. However, I do have a lot of cards with nothing inside! With that said, on to my card...
Because I made a card this week for another of Amy's team challenges, I decided to use the same stamp set and paper from the True Gentleman DSP package. Do you see how versatile this set and paper are? If you are at all interested, you need to order it quick like a bunny! Oh, and don't forget to hop along at the end :-)

Do you see how versatile this set and paper are? If you are at all interested, you need to order it quick like a bunny! Oh, and don't forget to hop along at the end :-)
I began with a card base 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" in Early Espresso. I cut a piece of the True Gentleman DSP at 5 1/4" x 4" and adhered it to the front of the card. I cut another 3" x 3" piece of the True Gentleman DSP and adhered that to the mat using Tombow glue.
There was a scrap piece of Very Vanilla 4" x 1" sitting on my desk so I stamped the sentiment from Truly Tailored in Early Espresso. I cut the one end with my paper snips to form a banner and sponged the edges with Early Espresso. I threaded a True Gentleman button with Linen Thread, tied a bow and adhered it to the banner with a glue dot. I then adhered the banner with dimensionals. Card front done!
For the inside, I used the Guy Greetings stamp set, which will also retire May 31. I used Early Espresso for all the stamping. I adhered a 1/4" x 4" strip of DSP and I was done!!
But you're not done, I hope, cuz you need to hop! Clicking on the "Next" button will take you to Amy Koenders.
And just in case you get lost along the way, here is a list of the team members involved in the hop today:
Karen Finkle - you are here!
Supplies used today are listed below. Remember if you want to order, it needs to be done asap because many are retiring May 31 and are only available while supplies last. Clicking on the photo will take you right to that item. Thanks for stopping by.
