Stampin' Up! Springtime Foils

I CASEd my own card for my project today. You can see the card I'm CASEing here.

Because it's also kind of a Rorschach card, I'm entering it for Challenge #173 - Rorschach Inkblots at As You See It.

My card base is Dapper Denim with an Emerald Envy mat (retiring May 31) behind the Springtime Foils (retired) panel.

The technique is Polished Stone. I used Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy and Bermuda Bay reinkers.

I wrapped a piece of Bermuda Bay stitched ribbon around the DSP and Emerald Envy mat. I used the Pretty Label punch to punch out the Bermuda Bay glimmer paper (retired) and adhered it with dimensionals. I stamped a piece of scrap Whisper White with the "thank you" from Wood Words. I punched it out with the  7/8" scallop punch (retired), sponged it with Bermuda Bay ink, and adhered it to the label.  Using a glue dot, I adhered my bow, et voila, fini!

Thanks for stopping by and if I can help you with questions, measurements, purchasing, or anything, just leave me a comment.

  3. Very pretty background and your sentiment is gorgeous framed in the glimmer paper! I keep wanting to do that Polished Stone again but there are so many other things, it gets shoved to the bottom of my list! Thanks for sharing this fun creation with us at As You See It!
