Stampin' Up! Hold on to Hope for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring current Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Feminine” theme and I’m featuring the Hold on to Hope stamp set for my project.

Ta da...

I know...you probably don't see a stamp set there...hang on...

My card base is Berry Burst, embossed with the Fluttering TIEF.  I used the Polished Stone technique on a piece of Glossy White Cardstock using Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Powder Pink reinkers.

Once that was dry, with Versamark ink, I stamped the butterfly from Hold on to Hope seven times. (See, I told you to hang on...that Elusive Butterfly of Life has appeared...have I got you singin' that tune?) I heat embossed them with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder. (Be careful doing that as the heat makes the alcohol from the polished stone technique pop or it could just be the glossy paper!)

I wrapped a piece of Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon around it, secured it on the back with Fast Fuse and adhered it to a mat of Lemon Lime Twist with Tombow. I die cut the butterfly from Butterflies Thinlits with my Big Shot, using Gold Glimmer Paper and adhered it with mini dimensionals. Card front done!

For the inside, I used a strip of the Polished Stone paper and adhered it to a piece of Whisper White.

I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line up the sentiment from Hold on to Hope using a Berry Burst ink pad. The "You", however, was done with my Fresh Fig Stampin' Write Marker applied to the end of one of stamps in that set. Now, here is where I have to laugh at myself...there is a separate "you" in that set I could have used!

I used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the "happy mother's day". I stamped the butterflies from Hold on to Hope in Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Lemon Lime Twist in the bottom right corner. I adhered that mat to a Lemon Lime Twist mat and then glued that to the card base.

I hope you have enjoyed viewing my card. Now you are free to flutter on!
