Stampin' Up! You're Inspiring

I made my card today for a special someone in my life. I was inspired by two challenges:

and

SSC 175 Easter Palette

So, I used the You're Inspiring stamp set to create this card...

I started by creating a card base of Daffodil Delight card stock. Then, using retired Mint Macaron card stock (I have some if you need it!), I cut a panel and embossed it with the Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF, using my Big Shot.

Then I cut a piece of Wisteria Wonder and adhered it to the MM panel.  I colored a piece of Just Add Color DSP (this is a Sale-A-Bration exclusive item. With a qualifying order of $50, this item can be added to your shopping bag - good until 3/31/18) and adhered it to the WW. The colors I used from my Stampin' Write Markers were Wisteria Wonder,  Pear Pizzazz, Marina Mist, Soft Sky and Pool Party. I also used my Daffodil Delight Light and Dark Blends (temporarily unavailable).

I stamped the daffodils from the Occasions Catalog You're Inspiring stamp set, using the direct to stamp method, onto a Whisper White scrap. In case you aren't familiar with "direct to stamp", it's a technique inking up the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers, huffing on it and then stamping. I used Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight markers. I cut it out with one of the circles from Stitched Shapes Framelits. I adhered it to the DSP panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.

With the addition of a Linen Thread "Billie Moan" bow, the card front was done.

The measurements and partial listing of products used are listed below.

The inside is a surprise for the recipient!

I hope you have enjoyed my card and that you will leave a comment if you have visited. It helps promote my blog and I am also hoping to promote my business! PLUS, I love hearing from you!!
