Stampin' Up! Another Large Number!

So next week another person in his nineties, becomes a year older. I made this card for him...

The top portion of the card is retired Farmer's Market DSP. The fruit peeking through the circles is from the new Fruit Basket set, which you can get as a bundle with punches or separately. You will see pics of the products at the end of my post.

The fruits are a two-step stamp. The strawberries are stamped in Cherry Cobbler and the pear is stamped in Pear Pizazz. The card base is "bs62-cream", which is already scored and the circles punched. I bought it at the Owl and Pussycat store in Ft. Myers so I have no idea who her supplier was. BUT, you could easily make the base your own by using the 1 1/4" punch here and Very Vanilla cardstock.

For the inside, I die cut the numbers using the Large Number Framelits and Red Glimmer paper and stamped "YEAR" in Cherry Cobbler. I used my Stampin' Write Marker to color just that word from one of the sentiments from the Number of Years stamp set.

I printed my own sentiment from my computer and adhered it to the bottom with some little apples in Red Glimmer paper. My friend punched those out for me so I have no idea what company made the punch but the apples are so darn cute.

I'm entering my card in the Watercooler Wednesday WWC157 - Heidi's "All About Occasions" Challenge. It is quite an occasion when you reach your 90's. My mother lived to be 93 and I'm well on my way!

Thank you for stopping by and if you have any questions about measurements or anything, just leave me a note.
