Stampin' Up! Heartfelt Blooms

This was my first attempt at using the Heartfelt Blooms stamp. It is only available through Sale-A-Bration - free with qualified order (click on the "Sale-A-Bration Info" tab above for those details).

This is a new line of stamps from Stampin’ Up! called DistINKtive stamps that give the look of a photograph with a stamp! The SU artists arranged a bouquet and photographed it to create the image. The manufacturing facility took the image and turned it  into rubber...so cool! There are many videos that show you how to use this stamp, one by Stampin' Up! being found here.

My card base is Blackberry Bliss (retired). I used my Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin' Blends to add color to the flower which was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on a mat of Whisper White. The sentiment from that set is stamped in Old Olive. I stamped a heart from Heart Happiness in Old Olive on an Old Olive scrap. Then I cut it out with a die from Sweet & Sassy Framelits.

I will be practicing more with this stamp using different colors for the base and possible applying the ink with a brayer. Stay tuned!

Thank you for visiting today.
